Fabulous George III mahogany chest on chest or tallboy, the top having an overhung cavetto cornice and reeded cant corners with inlaid panels to the bottom, and the base having high ogee bracket feet. Also has chestnut drawer linings and original thin pressed brass oval plate handles and escutcheons, both features being typical of furniture made in the Channel Islands.
